Mother's Day

Dearest Skyler,

We woke up a bit later this morning as you were still quite tired. After we got up, as it was Mother's Day, we gave Mama her Mother's Day present - a music CD that she liked.

As we'd gotten up late, we went to church late. It was Family service today. We'd hoped to let you meet your friends but most of them didn't come. Oh well ... Maybe the HFMD situation is keeping people away. We stayed in the service for as long as you could take before we had to leave for Popo's as we were going to have lunch with Popo to celebrate Mother's Day with her - or in your case, Happy Popo's Day! :D In case you forgot, we had our Happy Grandma's Day meal on Wednesday when she came to stay over.

Bubu and Moh-moh were there for lunch too. You stayed in your chair until you completed your meal after we asked you to. Well done, Lil' One! After everyone had had their fill, you went upstairs to play with Popo and didn't come down for a long time. By the time you did so, it was time to go.

We dropped by Borders on the way home and as you'd fallen asleep in the car, Mama shopped for books and bodysuits for Baby Mei-mei on her own. Mama'd bought a book for you once again. :D You have tonnes of books, Lil' One!

We dropped by Han's once again for dinner. We had better food tonight. You ate a bit of the food and desserts.

After we got home, Papa and you quickly got changed and headed to the swimming pool. It was a lot less crowded tonight.

You changed your routine a bit but we still enjoyed ourselves tremendously. :D You still like to be pulled through the water. :D You were a lot more comfortable with the bubble pool tonight. You asked to go there and Papa thought that you would still be afraid of it but to Papa's surprise, you started playing with the bubbles. Well done!

There was once when you jumped into the pool and you went under a bit and you probably took in some water. You started coughing but that didn’t deter you from continuing to enjoy the pool. You're such a brave girl!

We headed home soon after. We then played a bit with your toys, drew a Mama’s Day card for Mama and then headed for bed.

Papa and Mama love you!
