Skyler’s Not Well

Dearest Skyler,

You had a fever throughout the night and Mama cared for you. Mama had also managed to slip a cooling gel pad onto your forehead! Later in the night, you woke Papa up to ask for it to be removed but as Papa hadn't known that Mama had put it on you and it was dark, Papa didn't understand what it was you wanted done. When Mama came in, we switched on the light and it was only then that Papa saw the patch.

Your fever had been so high that the pad was completed warm. Thus, we had to administer another suppository. It was only later on that you managed to go back to sleep.

In the morning, Mama told Papa that your fever seemed to have been kept at bay and that you were hungry. Yay! Praise God! You seem to be better!

In the afternoon, Popo came to visit you as she knew that you were not well. She played with you for a short while before she left for work.

You had not had diarrhoea in the morning and we were hopeful that it had come to an end but you boomed bad in the afternoon. Sigh...

Mama brought you by train to meet Papa in the afternoon. It was terrible for Mama as you refused to walk and Mama had to carry you most of the way while balancing an umbrella and carrying a huge bag. Poor Mama!

After picking Papa up, we drove down to Mama's school so that she could do a couple of things. You were so sleepy that you slept throughout.

Mama told Papa that you wanted to watch fireworks in the sky so we decided to bring you to Sentosa. You had suffered so much the past few days with your fever and diarrhoea we decided to give you a treat.

We took a tram to the foodcourt for dinner. While we were there, you wanted some biscuits so Mama went to get some.

After dinner, we got onto a mini bus to head back to the 'Songs of the Sea' show. This was the first time we actually went in for the show.

We were a bit disappointed with the storyline but the fire, fountain, laser light show and fireworks were great! You were quite scared by the loud noises though. Poor Baby Gal. All in all, we think you quite enjoyed yourself.

We drove home after that. You were so tired by then you slept all the way home. Surprisingly we got home fairly early.

We went through our usual night routine of having a picnic and camping before turning in.

Papa and Mama love you!
