New Car Seat
Dearest Skyler,
We drove Mama over to her school so she could do something. While waiting for her, Papa and you stopped over at the nearby clubhouse to walk around. We explored what we could but we didn’t really get to see anything that interesting. There was a bit of space at the lobby for you to run around but that was about it. :p
After picking Mama up when she was done, we headed over to Ngee Ann City. We had a late lunch at Sushi Tei. You ate quite a bit of food. You're really eating lots more now - on top of your milk too! :D
We then went for the Baby Fair that was going on in the basement. You had lots of fun playing with all the things you could reach - cars, rides, etc. You were also so intrigued by the toy 'sculpture' of a baby in a hot air balloon that you kept on pointing at it and talking about it. :D
Mama and Papa spent some time looking around for a car seat for Mei-mei as they had several on sale. However, in the end, we bought one for you instead! It was a nice red one that is supposed to be very good at keeping you safe if we get into a vehicular collision. We hope you like it. :p
We're going to pass your current car seat to Mei-mei, okay? It's suitable for a new born baby like Mei-mei will be ... Just like you were when you were born! :D
We also bought matching shirts for Mei-mei and you! :D You both can wear them after Mei-mei's born. :p
After we'd put away your car seat in the car, we went to Paris Miki so that Mama could get something done. While we were waiting for her, you went around the store and tried on different spectacle frames. You looked so cute but we so hope that you won't need to wear such aids until much much later in life. Sadly, you'll probably have to some day as both Mama and Papa have to. :(
When Mama was done, we went for dinner at the Swensen's across the road. You were so hungry that you started picking at our salad and practically devoured the whole of the milkshake float! And you ate lots of our baked rice too!
The Manageress was very nice! We asked her if she had any children's kits such as colouring pencils and when she couldn't find any, she came back with a wafer that you immediately ate! :D That's service for you! If only all service outlets had such great service!
After dinner, we went to check out this place in Takahashimaya that did casts of hands and feet as we thought of having one made for you and Mei-mei. We left quite disappointed at the poor business model that they had. They charged a lot for the work involved but they provided severely limited options. Sigh... Oh well...
After such a long day, we drove home. You were so exhausted by then that you slept all the way home.
Papa installed your new car seat after Mama and you had gone home. We hope that you will like it, Lil' One! :p
Papa and Mama love you!
