Gym Camp
Dearest Skyler,
Papa brought you to the gym today. Mama couldn't come along as she had some work to rush. When we brought you to the car, we were still worried that you wouldn't accept your new car seat but you were totally fine! :D Phew!
Papa and you got to the carpark early enough that we had no problems getting a lot. We even got to the gym early. :D
Mama and you had prepared a card for Teacher Pearl so we gave it to her first thing on arrival. You also gave her a hug and had a photo taken with her. :D
We started the gym camp well enough with our taking part in the warm up activities but you froze up on the last run around. Papa didn't think much about it and just carried you for the run. However, you didn't enjoy being carried for the run like you usually did.
Teacher Pearl then took out some balloons for you to play with but you didn't want to. You started asking to go back to the car and wanting to go home. You also started giving everyone the evil eye! :p Papa had no choice but to bring you out as you had headed to the door and tried to get out on your own. We said our goodbyes to Teacher and left.
We went to the McDonald's next door to get you a Milo and you drank it all up on your own! Papa didn't even get a sip! :D
Mama asked Papa to ask the teachers at the gym if you could do a make-up for the camp as you hardly did anything and they very kindly agreed! The Little Gym is so amazing! They are so customer friendly that they don't give any problems at all when we need to do make-ups, etc! And they make the effort to remember everyone's names! We're so glad we bring you there.
We headed back to the car to head home for lunch with Mama. As we still had coupons that hadn't expired, Papa passed them on to the car that took over our parking lot.
We picked Mama up and headed to the Point for a dim sum lunch.
You wanted to see the growling bear so we brought you there. They had also gotten someone to dress up in a lion suit and allowed people to take photos with him. The problem was that the colouring of the lion suit was so sickly that people didn't even want to go close to it. This was a first for Papa as kids usually flock to these costumed characters. Papa himself was scared of it. :p
We then walked around a bit before heading home for a nap.
After we got up, we headed for a church group gathering at Aunty Niki and Uncle Peter's place. We were late. :p
We spent the whole evening there. You were so ravenous that you ate non-stop!
After we left their home, we dropped by the fairly well-known hawker centre, Chomp- chomp. This was was the first time we were there. We managed to find a stall that sold porridge similar to the kind we enjoyed when we were younger. :D
We headed home after that.
Papa and Mama love you!
