Busy Day
Dearest Skyler,
We had an extremely busy day today, Lil' One!
First, we drove down to The Little Gym for your first gym lesson. Papa brought you in today while Mama waited outside as they only allowed one parent in at a time and Mama is carrying Baby.
You, as usual, refused to participate in the organised activity and just wandered off to do your own thing. Not only that, you also didn't let Papa stay with the group. When Papa let you go off on your own and didn't follow you, you started crying and scaring all the other kids there!
You enjoyed all the equipment there. You kept on wanting to hang onto the bars but you would then keep on saying 'No, no!' while you're hanging there and want to get off but you wouldn't just let go and land on your feet - you wanted Papa to support you down. :p You also enjoyed tumbling around and doing front rolls. :D
Second, we drove over to Gong-gong and Popo's place to visit. Our visit was a surprise to them as we hadn't told them we were coming. You played with them - climbing the stairs, driving your car, playing with your toys, etc. You had so much fun! And they had so much fun entertaining you! :D
Third, we brought Popo to work before parking at Chinatown Point where we were meeting Kow-fu and Kow-moh for lunch at the Mouth Restaurant. We had lots of dim sum. After lunch, Bubu wanted to let you ride on the kiddie rides but you were scared of those they had for some reason. Bubu and Moh-moh then left and we visited a few shops before heading home.
We had a nap once we got home.
Fourth, Grandma came in the evening to have dinner with us. We all drove down to the Point to eat at the Chinese restaurant. We were celebrating Grandma's Chinese birthday and Papa's passing his Master's degree requirements. :D Yay! Papa’s finally done! Papa needn’t go for lessons in the evening anymore thus he can spend all the time with Mama and you.
We had lots of food and to Papa's amazement, you kept on eating and eating! You even drank one whole glass of barley and some of another! You must have been so hungry!
As it was late by then, we brought Grandma to a bus stop for her to get a bus home while we headed home ourselves.
What a busy day!
Papa and Mama love you!
