Playstation

Dearest Skyler,

We stayed home the whole day today. Papa brought you out to get lunch from 888 later in the morning. We also stopped off at the supermarket to buy you another tin of chocolate milk. We then came home to eat.

In the afternoon, we all took a nap.

In the evening, Papa went out to get dinner.

While we were having dinner at home (you had completed eating first), Mama and Papa were astonished when you brought over a couple of pairs of socks that Papa had rolled up but left lying around. You put them away in our sock drawer. Thanks for helping us pack up, Lil’ One! :D

After dinner, we decided that it was time for you to be introduced to our Playstation set. It’s a very old set. Mama had bought it for Papa as a wedding gift. It is a well-used set. You’re such a natural at holding it. Once you saw the controller, you immediately picked it up in more or less the correct manner. But of course you’re too young to understand how to play it still. Never mind, you’ll learn. :D Mama and Papa tried to play a game but you kept on grabbing the controller from Papa. :p

We put you to bed earlier today.

It’s New Year’s Eve, Lil’ One. Tomorrow will be a brand new year. What new experiences will you bring to us, Lil One?

Papa and Mama love you!

Skyler’s Bed’s Ready!

Dearest Skyler,

We couldn’t go to church today as Mama was feeling unwell. Mama’s going through the same thing with Baby as she did with you, Lil’ One. The morning sickness is making her unwell and sad most of the time. She’s also hungry all the time. All a repeat of what you did to her. Baby owes Mama big time too – just like you! :p

We spent the morning at home resting. We then went down to the Point in the afternoon for lunch. We also stopped by the shop where we bought your bed as we had difficulties assembling it. We managed to get some clarification on what the problem was with the assembly from the people there.

We then headed home to collect something before driving off to the zoo. We spent only a bit of time at the zoo as Mama was very tired. We saw the tapirs and white tigers before driving off to a gathering.

The gathering was hosted by a couple from Mama’s choir. It was quite fun for you. They brought out a stuffed dog and bear to let you play with. You were a bit shy at the beginning but you warmed up enough to run around the house and pass things to the people around there as time went by. :D

We headed home when you got very tired and wanted to sleep.

After we got back, we started work on your bed again and we finally managed to get it all together! Your bed’s finally ready, Lil’ One. Now, how do we get you to sleep in it by yourself? :p

Papa and Mama love you!

Skyler’s Own Train Set

Dearest Skyler,

We had to bring Mama down for an appointment with Dr W today so you had the opportunity to go play at the playground at Forum Galleria. You had lots of fun going through everything they had there. You so enjoyed climbing up the apparatus and sliding down the slide. You also had some fun in the ball pit and the house.

You seem to have a great fear of the other kids there, Lil’ One. Everytime one of them gets on the same piece of equipment with you, you appear to go into a panic and desperately ask Papa to get you off of it. I’m so sorry that you feel so afraid. Mama thinks that it must have been from the time when that che-che just clambered all over you to get into the house the last time.

Papa simply cannot understand why some kids do not know how to be careful. Even while we were there today, a kor-kor just jumped into the ball pit and landed very close to a di-di there. It totally shocked the di-di’s mother and family helper who quickly yanked the di-di out. If the kor-kor had landed just a bit off, he would have landed on the di-di. It’s so terrible! The kor-kor’s Papa was just sitting off to one side and he didn’t even say anything to his son about how he might have badly injured the di-di. Sigh…

When Mama was done, she came back to look for us at the playground. We then drove over to the Chinese restaurant to have a dim sum lunch. We were going to meet Kow-fu and Kow-moh there. We got there a bit earlier so we got some food first. They came soon after. They had missed your birthday celebrations earlier as Bubu was so busy so they brought your birthday present with them today. It is a Thomas the Tank Engine train set! :D It’s the same one that you had so much fun playing with at Kor-kor Isaac’s! :D

After lunch, we drove back home to rest as we were all so sleepy. We had awakened so early in the morning today. We got home and all of us napped. :D

In the evening, Papa and you drove down to 888 to get dinner before coming home to eat with Mama.

After dinner, Papa and Mama worked on your bed again while you watched TV.

We hit a snag with the bed assembly as the instructions were very badly put together. Oh well… We’ll get it done some how! :D

Papa and Mama love you!
